Lifeforce was one of those movies that came and went quickly and really just didn't do well on the big screen. The irony is the film has become a cult favorite on dvd/vhs and the score is one of the most sought after pieces by Mancini ever produced.

Lifeforce is not to be missed by any soundtrack collector who loves real piece of art. This composition contains a unique arrangement of "suites" that were used to full advantage in the action sequences in this movie. The suites have a lego effect of building up to a tremendous ending. I have owned this one for years and never grow tired of it, nor does the music ever feel outdated.
