Disregard all bells!

Fred Karlin has been a consistently funky soundtrack composer since the early 60s. This album is a hard one to find, and fits exactly with my expectations. It's a really strong 60s groovy album, with plenty to keep the beat freak happy. From another 1967 high school movie ("To Sir, With Love" was the first that year), look out for the outstanding groovers "You're hip, Miss Pastorfield" (and it sure sounds like she is!) and "The G.O. Glide". Fuzz guitar, chunky bass, snappy drums and groovy sax predominate. Highly recommended. Quincy Jones couldn't have done it any better!
