Nothing to shout about here!
by a soundtrack collector (June 24, 2008)
I bought this at it was a clearance item and only paid $5 dollars for it. Its nothing special in my opinion just the typical 80's music pomp and it didnt really stand out for me to make any impression. There are only a couple of tracks that i like on the whole cd and they dont really do much either. It might be better in the film but to listen to by itself it just doesnt stand out enough for me. Average in my opinion.

Only A Few Years Back Came This Class Act Of A Ball Busting Recording!
by
Victor Valentine (May 23, 2006)
Screwball comedy filmed in Los Angeles involves the going on's surrounding insane and crazed relationship between neurotic gullable writer and neurotic gullable painter.

Scored by French composer Michel Colombier the recording (produced by Varese Sarabande) proved to be one of those unexpected gems that may very well cause the listener to jump out of his seat and proclaim... "Goddamn!"

If at times your inclinations lean towards fast pounding electrified jazz grounded film scoring wired for maximum effect you may very well find yourself screaming for an encore each time this recording is matched with suitable stereophonic playback equipment!

And by the way, film stars Michael Caine, Sally Field and Peter Boyle and isn't too bad either. *****
