A Peculiar Release From Laurie Records
by a soundtrack collector (March 19, 2006)
From the label most widely known for releasing the recording of Dion And The Belmonts comes a peculiar score from an even more peculiar film starring Henry Fonda, Robert Ryan and Vittorio Gassman.

It has a jagged espionage in your face sort of edge with an occasional mutated take on the teen beat craze of the American 60's ala a couple vocals tracks offered by an artist I cannot recall by name at this writing.

The composers defined within the grooves are equally as elusive as I am aware of Gian-Piero Reverberi only slightly and have no knowledge whatsoever of his cohort Robert Mellin.

I would give this recording a personal rating of a high five for all around quality of production. The cover is a beautiful reproduction of the original poster art. *****
