An Interesting Sound Trip Through The Tube Tunnels Of London!
by a soundtrack collector (March 25, 2006)

From the 1972 British film "Deathline" comes the first release of it's score by composer Wil Malone.

I was fortunate enough to snag a copy of the limited edition vinyl release several years back. A peculiar item it is!

First side features the Main Theme, (a wild and jazzy funked out six minute piece of let's hear it again) while the flip side offers Incidental Pieces (a suite from the score complete with the dismal ringing of London church bells and low sinister chords of dark madness that leaves the listening wondering if perhaps he has finally lost his mind).

I came upon this recording by chance (after having ordered by mail an entirely different item). After checking it out and listening to it I concluded... Hell, I can work with this, and decided to keep it!

Hard boiled, freaked out, watch your back kind of music that really does the trick when the mindset craves something not the least warm and fuzzy! *****
