WDW Millennium Celebration
by
Michael Longstreet (June 26, 2008)
The Millennium Celebration album is filled with great music from Walt Disney World’s event that took place
throughout 2000 in Epcot. Included on this album is “Reflections of Earth,” the fantastic night show that
takes place in Epcot’s Seven Seas Lagoon. Composed by Gavin Greenaway, this track clocks in over 9
minutes and contains the entire show (except the voiceover before the show). This is a great piece.

Gavin Greenaway also composes “The Tapestry of Nations,” which is the fantastic 23 minute track from
the parade that traveled along the World Showcase in 2000 during the Millennium Celebration. This whole
encompassing track includes The Sage of Time Prologue, Millennium Heartbeat, The Great Millennium
Walk, Reach for the Stars, and The Human Spirit. This is truly an amazing track.

Kellie Coffey brings “We Go On” and “Promise” to the album, which were songs played throughout Epcot
during 2000. Kurt Von Chmittou closes out the album with “Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand (Gospel
Version).” This accompanied the Tapestry of Nations during the celebration and is just a great piece as
well.
