Monster Ball...Roarr!
by
Damian Aliberti (January 19, 2008)
I really didnt notice the music during the movie, it was just the sounds (scary freaky sounds and lots of explotions) The dialog basically is a lot of "OMG, OMG,OMG"... but at the end...like icing in a fun birthday cake, Michael Giacchino unfold his very distinctive talent in an awesome masterpiece. it really make me feel the chills I felt during the movie, it was like the movie was summ in that final Roar! (that's the name of the main theme of Cloverfield) I dont know if there are many other tracks in the soundtrack, probably will be featured in a the commercial complilation, really dont know as today -I just hear it one time today, at the movie- But let tell you...that track is a must in your collection. That main track has so much orchestral energy, drama and excitment, that was worth the price of the movie. The mood scalates exponentially, scary and intense, until it reaches a dark nostalgia from Bernard Herrmann and franz waxman (yeah, that good!) transporting your senses into the lovely horrors of your chilhood. A complete delight! Hope I can get the whole soundtrack soon. Gracias!
Damian
