Across The Sea of Time is a score which will bring you into world of children's dreams. The music is full of hope, excitement and sentimentality. ATSOT is composed in Dances With Wolves and Scarlet Letter manner - epic, expansive, arranged for rather big orchestra and first of all it's full of gorgeous, long-lined themes. The only minus of ATSOT is lack of originality. Across The Sea of Time is extremely pleasant and works very well on album. I highly recommend this score for sensitive persons and everyone who likes to savour wonderful melodies. This is one of Barry's best scores of 1990's along Dances With Wolves, Chaplin and Playing By Heart.
