I have posted a YouTube link to this most intriguing of haunting songs. The song credits - composer, lyricist and performing artist - are completely omitted from the movie credits.

The delivery is outstanding, and the female singer is somewhat reminiscent of Shirley Bassey.

According to the writer/director of 'Squirm', Mr Jeff Lieberman, the song was bought from a catalogue of music. Robert Prince is not responsible for composing it, but refers to the melody at times in his original score, to prepare the audience for hearing it during the film's conclusion.

I would be very grateful if you could research the origins and credits of this remarkable song.
