L'africain / L'eté meurtrier - Georges DELERUE

Hello,

without knowing much about the scores at all, I bought the abovementioned Georges Delerue double feature release ("Dynasty 2083/83") in Brussels this sunday.

By the look of the disc, it is obviously a CD-R (printed side looking professional, but unprinted side shining blue). The simple 1 sheet cover inlay card and the back cover seem rather "home made" as well. The source of L'AFRICAIN is obviously the original LP by WEA, as typical vinyl record noises occur every once in a while. However, what bothers me more is that the sound is a bit muffled (there are no distortions or so, the sound is just a bit "remote"), even a bit like if the trebles were cut off or reduced a bit.

So my question would be to anyone who owns the ORIGINAL WEA LP release: Do you find the same muffled, slightly "remote" sound in that official release as well?

Thanks in advance
Regards,

Urs
