bt's genius?

Doesn't any one out there recognize the similarities between bt's "original soundtrack" of Monster and the Little Village song "Big Love".
There are too many from melody to hook for this to be coincidental.
What happened to copyright laws?
Maybe the real musicians in Little Village don"t have time too waste taking a pompous techno-geek (see interview on dvd) like bt to court.
