Does anyone know (or know where i might find out) the titles and artists of the non-instrumental music featured in the film Runaway Jury? They are not on the soundtrack. I know one is called "A Bitter Tree" by David Baerwald. Does anyoen know the rest? Thanks so much!

If you find the answer to this, would you please let me know! I just came from seeing the movie and fell in love with the last song (through credits) and need to know the name of the performer...thanks!

I wish I could find it!!! I've looked everywhere.
I absolutely love that last song!!! I think the best way to find out what it is to listen to the words of the song and search for that. The girl's voice sounds a bit like Nora Jones, but I think we would know if it was actually her.
I really want to know what it is!!!

what other songs are you looking for? the rest should be on the soundtrack .... thats where i found them.

No, the songs on the soundtrack are original compositions written for the movie. There were various pop/rock, etc. (previously recorded) songs throughout the movie. The titles of those songs are what I am looking for. I have two so far... the Norah Jones song and the David Baerwald song. But there were more non-soundtrack songs in the movie... I may have to just get the DVD (which I plan to eventually anyway) and look through the credits to find the song titles.

I've also been searching for some of these titles. Specifically, I'm looking for the title and artist of the song thats plays right after Eastor first enters his apartment and you find out that he and Marlee are together.

Did anyone ever find out who was singing the song when Nick Easter enters his apartment and we find out he is with Marlee and they are in bed together?

The song is called "Heart of Mine" written by Bob Dylan, performed by Norah Jones.

Check the Internet Movie Database (imdb.com), search for the movie title, then
click on "Soundtrack listing" on the left (or something like that). Here's the
list that came up with other soundtracks (pasted below), but I ordered the CD
from Amazon.com before I realized that it was ONLY the Christopher Young
tracks! I love Young's music, but was hoping to find the vocal song that came
on very early on in the film. Can't remember anything about it except that I
really liked it and it was something like the blues. Anyone know the name? Is
this song on the list from imbd.com below?

I loved that Norah Jones song at the end too, but can't find it on any albums or kazaa (shame on me). Dylan, huh? Wonder when he wrote it?

I take that back, I found Heart of Mine on Norah's NYC CD.

'Heart of mine" is from Bob Dylan's "Shot of Love" album in 1981

The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?------ Jeremiah 17:9

Only the Lord Jesus can change our hearts.
This is very nice version of this song what cd is it on of Nora Jones. I have 'feels like home'.

Heart of Mine

I found the song through Limewire (I think it uses the Gnutella network).

You can also find it in:
New Cork City

RE: Runaway Jury Soundtrack

There is a song in the movie that I have fallen in love with. I am not sure if it is in the ones mentioned (I am not familiar with any of them !!) I have been trying to find either the lyrics or an actual sound bite . . . But no luck !!

The song says something about forgiveness, forgiveness . . .

If anyone knows -- I will love you for life !!! I would name my first born after you . . . But no first born !!! Sorry !!!

I would still appreciate it !!

Wendy :-)

Edited to say I found the song by David Baerwalk -- But it was called "Bitter Apple" not "The Bitter Tree" ??? Or are they one in the same ???? But whatever it is that song !!! Thanks for this board -- It got me going in the right direction !!! :-)

I love it too! ^_^ That song was the reason I first posted the question. But I finally did find it! It's called "A Bitter Tree," and it's by David Baerwald. :)
