Ravi Shankar 1920 – 2012
Ravi Shankar has died at the age of 92 on December 11th. Aside from being a virtuoso of the sitar and a internantionally respected indian composer, he also composed several film scores.
RIP Ravi Shankar.

Rest in peace Ravi Shankar. Just a few days ago I submitted his score for the 1986 film Genesis to Discogs.
His collaboration with Philip Glass a few years ago is a favorite of mine as well many of his other recordings, Charly, Raga, Chappaqua, so many others.
