Thank you, but I've already downloaded the soundtrack from itunes
I was just wondering if it was ever released on CD ?
It's a beautiful score, sometimes it's hard to tell Andrea and his
father Ennio apart, similar melodies and the same "layered strings"
They are almost "clones" !

I also bought the download, great score . A cd would help us out on information about the orchestra, conductor, the cooperation between Ennio and Andrea. Clones indeed. This is the trouble with downloads, there is no information. And for collectors it is a dead end. I have shelves stuffed with records and cds, It looks a lot more impressive than a few terrabite harddrives. Besides I like the artworks on the booklets and the old recordsleeves.
Unfortunately, the download is the future...

Sijbold, I absolutely agree with you, there's nothing better than
owning the actual CD.
I've been a collector of the the music of Ennio Morricone for many
years and i'm very proud of my collection...also a former MSV member.
Let's hope they release "Ciao America" on CD soon.
My favourite track from that beautiful score is "February"....truly stunning !

Best wishes,
Louis.
