Supercollector.com - Problems???
My last order was placed in november, but I haven't got my CDs. Also, I haven't got any responses to my email remainders. On www.filmtracks.com there is a notice about problems with supercollector. Meanwhile supercollector sent me a voucher for a 25 % discount with my next order. Is there anything wrong with supercollectors or are they still on winter holidays??

I did mail them yesterday coincidentally,
about an order I wanted to place with them,
this very morning I already got an answer,
so I could get in touch through their e-mailadress
supercollector@supercollector.com
Maybe you used another adress?

Try calling someone at Super Collector on the phone and speaking to them directly...it's much harder for them to ignore you that way!
That's what I did a few months ago when my order didn't show up in a timely fashion, and they researched the problem immediately, apologized for the delay, and sent out my CD the next day.

I was also looking at ordering something from them but I'm holding back because I always see questions on their website from people asking where their order is, and most of the time with no replys from them! Puts me off a bit.

On the positive side; I'm from the UK and I've used them about three times and every transaction was without problems.
Droenix; If you're from the UK it might have been a UK postal service problem, though doubtful.
What about Monsters In Motion bootlegs?

I've only ordered one thing from them (Dune complete score) around November 2003 (i live in UK) . It's arrived no problem. But on the same item, there is a plethora of questions from people saying "Where is my order?". When you click on them, it says the forums have been closed temporarily (but it was still saying that earlier in the year if i remember rightly). I suspect people were using the forums to ask where the hell their stuff was. So i think they've closed those forums to prevent further embaressment perehaps.
I just think they're very slow and badly organized in terms of customer notification, more than anything. When my CD had not arrived, i sent an email just enquiring if everything was going ok. The CD arrived at my house a couple of days later anyway. But i got no reply from that enquiry email nonetheless. I just think they're customer feedback is pretty atrocious and badly organized, to be honest.
Over Christmas and new year i really dont think anyone was manning the emails, orders, and enquiries, so they just left it all until they've come back in 2004. I may be wrong, but i suspect that may be the explanation for some people's delay problems. Recently, i was going to order 2 more copies of the Dune collectors CD to sell here in UK (as it's very difficult for people to find here). I ordered them but held back on paying (as they advised me too) until i got confirmation from them that they had them in stock. But i've never recieved an email from them about that order (about 2 weeks ago) confirming anything. So i've just given up on it. Luckily i have'nt payed anything, so i can just allow it to fall away by itself.
I had heard there was some problems with the site and it possibly closing down. So i would be very wary about paying with Paypal first until you've "confirmed" that your item is in stock (but you may never get an email back anyway) So i would advise people to be carefull from now.

I recently received an e-mail from Super Collector advertising a 25% discount off of all items purchased on their website from January 1 until February 1...perhaps a "going-out-of-business" sale?

I ordered the "Krull" special edition from their site about a year ago, and I did have to badger them a little bit to get the CD. It ended up taking a lot longer than it should have. I don't know if there exactly on the up and up, but I agree with some of the other posters, it's probably just a matter of poor organization and structure on their part. Hope you get your CDs.

Thanks a lot for your support. Now I am trying everything to get any response. On wednesday I posted my problem to their board (order # 1620) - no answer.
Droenix, January 16, 2004; 10:03 AM

January 8th I ordered their Krull 2-cd edition with their discount coupon, today (20 days later) I received it. I did not write nor call them, nor did they send me any confirmation (that would help enormously I think) . I have to admit I was getting a littlebit worried because it took such a long time. But it arrived safely (well packed).

I am really angry. No response to any email and no helpful answer in their forum. I assume my money is lost. Look at the homepage, nothing new since January, 1st., and nothing in their stock of any new releases of January, 2004.
Droenix, February 2, 2004; 12:00 PM

I ordered in the beginning of november, I´ve gotten no updates.
Ive mailed a couple of times to both of their mail adresses every month politely asking for any info or update.
But ive never gotten any kind of reply.
This is the worst customer experience ive ever had....
Im starting to get really pissed off at just being ignored....

I have not got my order from them either. Going on a month now.

cdsoundtracks On EBay Is SuperCollector.com
Just A Heads Up...
CDSoundtracks (a seller on EBay) is a remnant of SuperCollector. Mark Banning was (or a part) of Super Collector. Now his wife Yvette is the person funds go to when purchasing from CDSoundtracks on EBay.
I won several items. I Did not get a reply to a single EMail and still have not received my CDs. I should have realized when I bid that the last batch of auctions were all "private". When sending EMails, I thought the "earthlink" seemed familiar and then I remembered that Mark Banning used "earthlink".
SO BEWARE!

I recently bought a cd from cdsoundtracks. After waiting more then a month I decided to e-mai them to check the status of my order. No reply. I never received it. Thanks to PayPal I got my money back. I'm assuming Ivette Banning (which I had no idea was the wife of Mark Bannng from Buysoundtrax) took the money and spent it on the beauty parlor. What can I say. Very unprofessional and irresponsible tactics. I will not order from cdsoundtracks again!
