as i say i dont really know, my friend loves enigma and says it might be one of theirs and i also think it sounds very much like enigma's style but, i have looked through a lot of their music and havnt found the track we all want but a lot of their stuff sounds extremly similar which is why i suggested that it could of been a remix, pls post back if you have any leads on this one as it seems no-one on the entire world wide web knows!!!

I'm looking for it too - but I just tried playing what the last writer thought it was "I love you I'll kill you" by Enigma - and that is not it!!!! The soundtrack is hard to find but I found it a couple of places - someone on Ebay wants $34.00 for it!!!!! ridiculous!!! but another place has it for $7 - $8 which I would spend if I knew for sure that song is actually included as one of the tracks on the CD. So without knowing the name I can't tell. Those two same places listed the tracks from the CD but again I don't know the name of it. The only one's that sound like they could remotely be that song are: "She never really was" or "Body of Politics" I'm still hoping someone will know the name of the song and write in!!!!!!

I've been researching this all morning while watching the movie on TNT. Maybe it will show up in the credits at the end of the movie. I do beleive it is BODY POLITICS by Enigma.

The album is composed by Christopher Young, and was Released in 1997. (all tracks are instrumental).

To bring some light on this matter, the "Music from club scene in Murder at 1600" is definitely not Body Politics from Christopher Young, and also is not Enigma. This track (music) is not among the official soundtrack of the movie.

I will continue to search for this particularly melody ...

This track is not featured on the official soundtrack I know this for certain. I can also confirm that it is definately not Enigma. I also have been looking for this track for years, I can tell you this a full length version of this song is featured in a porno movie called "Burgundy Blues" by Thomas Paine. I know i had the painfull task of sitting through this whole movie searching for this song. A word of warning if you liked what little you heard in Murder at 1600 then wait till you hear the full version its absolutely fantastic. If anyone finds out please let me know.

Well done Karley, Paul Shaw and Dave Rogers it is! A collection of their work (inc. Lovedance), is available from Carlin Production Music (UK). Those of you that like Lovedance will flip over "Out of Reach". I recommend the CD it's generally 'chilling' music.
