Miklós Rózsa's The Private Life Of Sherlock Holmes

This score by Miklós Rózsa is based on his brilliant Concerto for Violin, Opus 24 (original written for Jascha Heifetz), and is reconstructed, orchestrated and conducted by Rózsa expert Nic Raine. This spectacular new digital recording to celebrate the composer's 100th birthday anniversary is performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, and has a stunning solo violin performance by the young violin virtuoso Lucie Svehlova. The bonus material of this limited collector's edition includes over 20 Minutes of music composed for scenes cut from the final print of this classic Billy Wilder film. Mastered in Dolby and HDCD, this CD contains over 77 minutes of music.
