Hans Zimmer's Pirates At World's End
7-Jun-2007 - From Walt Disney Records comes the score for the third Pirates movie, Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End. And this time the music is even better than the music for the first two movies, and those movies already had fabulous music. Responsible for the third score is good old Hans "Long John" Zimmer, with additional music by a.o. Nick Glennie-Smith, Henry Jackman and Geoff Zanelli. Hans Zimmer about the score: "You know, it's not meant to be a parody!" "And he was right: what the films have always achieved is to draw you into the story, without questioning the absurdity of the subject, or losing a sense of humor" says Mark Wherry, digital instrument designer.
