18-Jun-2007 - Again 4 new releases from Digitmovies..! The first one is the fifth volume dedicated to Italian Giallo movies scored by 2007 Oscar winner Ennio Morricone: Uccidete Il Vitello Grasso E Arrostitelo (aka Kill The Fatted Calf) directed in 1969 by Salvatore Samperi and starring Jean Sorel, Marilù Tolo and Maurizio Degli Esposti. This CD project was made possible once again thanks to the help of CAM Original Soundtracks, where the 1969 original stereo session tapes have been preserved until today.
Composer and musician Francesco De Masi, director Michele Lupo and comedy actors Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia. The integration of their splendour can be discovered in the Spaghetti Western Per Un Pugno Nell’Occhio, a delicious parody of Sergio Leone’s classic Per Un Pugno Di Dollari.
Director Umberto Lenzi returns to the Police Movies genre with La Banda Del Gobbo (aka Brother Till We Die) (1977) starring again Cuban actor Tomas Milian. Digitmovies presents the second volume dedicated to the Italian Police Movies: for the very first time on record the complete original motion picture score by Franco Micalizzi, one of the most prolific composers of the Italian Cinema.
Digitmovies presents on CD for the very first time the complete original motion picture soundtrack by Bruno Nicolai for the spy movie Missione Speciale Lady Chaplin (aka Operation Lady Chaplin) directed in 1966 by Alberto De Martino, starring Daniela Bianchi, the famous Bond Girl in From Russia With Love” (1963).
