8-Jun-2010 - Alhambra Records has presented the world premiere CD release of the music for the award-winning documentary Continente Perduto. This movie was in 1955 one of the most successful documentaries and also the first Italian movie in color and Cinemascope and with a four channel stereo sound. Lavagnino, who lived together with the film team in Indonesia for 6 months to study the music, composed a fascinating and exotic score with brilliant themes. On this CD for the first time Angelo Francesco Lavagnino's complete score in full stereo.This is a limited edition of 500 copies.
