Ennio Morricone's Il Vizietto

20-Jun-2014 - Music on Vinyl has released Il Vizietto (La Cage Aux Folles) on vinyl. It's the story of two gay men living in St. Tropez, who have their lives turned upside down when the son of one of the men announces he is getting married. They try conceal their lifestyle and their ownership of the transvestite club downstairs when the fiancée and her parents come for dinner. This is one of Ennio Morricone's perfect matching scores for Italian cult movies like this one is. The LP is pressed from 180 gram audiophile vinyl and has a printed innersleeve. The first pressing is/was available as a limited edition of 500 numbered copies on transparent vinyl.
