Ennio Morricone Gold Edition Vol. 2
29-Oct-2005 - Following the sucess of Ennio Morricone Gold Edition, GDM Music in Italy has released an excellent follow up, Ennio Morricone Gold Edition Vol. 2. This 3 CD box contains carefully remastered music from fifty of the numerous movies for which Maestro Ennio Morricone created his beautiful, sometimes intriguing, but always interesting music. On these CD's we find movies from the sixties, like Il Federale, of course his westerns with tracks from Il Buono, Il Brutto, Il Cattivo, Per Un Pugno Di Dollari and Occhio Alla Penna. From his "French time" there is famous music represented, like Barbablu, Le Ruffian, Il Clan Dei Siciliani and Le Marginal. And of course some of his more recent scores, like Il Fantasma Dell' Opera (1998), Malèna (2000), and Karol (2005). This CD is a true tribute to Maestro Morricone..!
