Ennio Morricone's For A Fistful Of Dollars
13-Mar-2006 - GDM Music has released the special edition CD reissue of Per Un Pugno Di Dollari(For A Fistful Of Dollars) with the famous score by Ennio Morricone for the classic movie directed by Sergio Leone in 1964. At that time a single appeared featuring two tracks, but not earlier as in 1965 seven stereo selections appeared as the A side of an LP with on side B For a Few Dollars More. In the 42 years after its theatrical release this movie and his music has become a classic. This CD was prepared in close cooperation with Maestro Ennio Morricone, who authorized 10 inedited tracks coming from the original 1964 mono session tapes. Through an appropriate digital remastering and a carefull restoration session all the original sound defects and anomalies could be removed. This CD features the music chronologically sequenced as it appears in the movie (alternating the stereo mixes to the newly discovered mono mixes). For more info and ordering, visit GDM Music - Italy.
