Bowie and the Muppets
As if getting to watch David Bowie sing and dance on a cult classic movie with the muppets wasn't good enough, the soundtrack to the movie has proven to be every bit as enjoyable as the film that spawned it. Alternating the instrumental score work of Trevor Jones with Bowie's original songs, the sounds that played such an important part in the movie are equally impressive when listened to on their own.

The Bowie contributions run the range from very fun, relatively light-weight songs such as "Underground", "Chilly Down", and "Magic Dance", to more serious and somber songs such as the beautiful "As The World Falls Down" and "Within You". The score blends perfectly with David's compositions, and really ties the soundtrack together into a great listening experience.

For anyone who enjoyed watching David Bowie and the goblins, (tights, big fuzzy wig, and all) this soundtrack is a must have and is guaranteed to leave you with a smile on your face and wondering where you left your copy of the video.

love it
ok as if the movie wasnt great enough they came up with this it is amazing i love as the world falls down that has always been my favorite song

My favorite movie of all time.
There is nothing better than sitting down with a good bowl of popcorn, kicking back, and watching the best movie in the world. For me, that would be this movie. I remember seeing it for the first time when I was about 4, and it stuck with me ever since. When I'm bored, I watch this movie. When I have friends over, we watch this movie. My favorite quotes come from this movie... such as the ever-popular "Did you say Hello?" "No, I said 'Ello, but that's close enough", to the always hilarious "Please leave a contribution in the little box." This movie is the absolute perfect movie!
