Bedazzling!
by
Neel Kizmiaz (September 22, 2006)
Dudley Moore was a very talented musician, actor you name it. When he played the piano for Julie Andrews in "10" and she gave him that "look"....it was for real (they were fighting just before that scene). The theme for Bedazzled has been covered by Nick Cave, Bongwater, Anita Lane....and still sounds very modern (Peter Cook's dead pan delivery of the lyric throws it "Way Out"). The score covers many genres : bop, easy listening, go-go, orchestral, jazz and pop. "Love Me" is the main theme reworked:"tell me you can't live without me...ooo love me". "Strip Club" is a wild go go number that'll rock your socks off. One of the best scores to listen to from start to finish ! Original vinyl sells for over $100.

Dudley Moore's Bedazzled: Great fun and great music..!
by
Ton Werkman (June 9, 2001)
Suddenly there is a piece of your youth back on your table: Bedazzled, the British 1967 cult movie with Dudley Moore and Peter Cook. Dudley Moore not only played one of the main characters, he also composed a beautiful, appealing score that, when listening to the CD now, calls up all the images of that hilarious, typical British comedy. The music has been re-mastered perfectly and sounds if it was recorded yesterday. Not only a must-have for the Dudley Moore fan, but for every soundtrack collector.
Get on with the good work, Harkit Records..!
