Big score but sadly not complete on the cd!

The score for the 5th movie is great! The sore presents the mystery, beauty, adventure and action from the movie. Sadly two tracks are shortened in comparison to the movie ("Without help" and "Let's Get Out of Here"!) and sadly the very good theme for Sybock is not on the album. Sybocks theme you can hear in the movie, where Spock tells Kirk and McCoy something about is half brother. This wonderful Track would be a great addition to the album. Some nice short cues for the enterprise are missing too. In the scene, where the enterprise was the first time on the screen in this movie you can hear Goldsmith alternate theme for the Enterprise, which was originally composed for the first movie, before Goldsmith rewrite the music. Its nice that Goldsmith put his alternate theme for a moment in the short cue, where we see the Enterprise for the first time here.
Although this CD has edited cues and some very good music not on the album, this CD presents great Star Trek music. Hopefully we will hear someday more from the music of a new CD. It would be a great title for Intrada or Varese.
