Atmospheric and moving - Mark Isham Film Music by weepstah (January 31, 2006)
The Windham Hill release of Mark Isham Film music contains 3 tracks - music from Mrs. Soffel, The Times of Harvey Milk, and Never Cry Wolf. Oddly enough, the most effective track is for Mrs. Soffel, which contains wonderfully moody music and some odd experimentations with piano. Never Cry Wolf is a great movie, and the soundtrack is also very good, and probably deserves it's own release as a separate entity. While the main theme of Harvey Milk is moving, this track is not anyway near on par with the other two. A seminal soundtrack recording, which gets my highest recommendation.
