WALL STREET UP FOUR STARS WITH EXCELLENT ELECTRONIC SCORE
by a soundtrack collector (November 27, 2004)
Stewart Copeland has written an excellent score for the
greatly entertaining movie WALL STREET. The many moods of the movie's dramatic moments are captured and highlighted by the score's powerfully stated elements. As usual, however, these delicious elements are not long enough, especially the "End Title Theme", which caused me to seek out the soundtrack in the first place. And, of course, Varese Sarabande fell short of glory by not including Sinatra's opening song, "Fly Me To the Moon", and Talking Head's "Naive Melody" at the end of the movie over the credits. Altogether an absorbing effort, but you have to "make your own" if you
want the complete soundtrack!!!
