This is one of the first of an entirely new concept!
by a soundtrack collector (April 8, 2006)

A recording of original music from classic low budget horror films by accomplished composer Albert Glasser, was in 1978, an original concept and something that had never previously occurred!

Produced by Starlog records rare excerpts from such films as "The Amazing Colossal Man", "The Mole People" and "The Cyclops" beautifully package in a gatefold jacket complete with extensive liner notes and photographs from the films represented!

For years the original discs of the music contained on this L.P. were stored within a closet in the composers California home. Not until the guys at Starlog convinced him to release those treasures on record had this music been heard aside from the soundtracks of the films of which they were composed!

The music is mostly mono aside from a stereophonic suite from the 1960 film "The Boy And The Pirates", a powerful tribute to the composers mentor Erich Korngold! *****
