really spectacular
by
Pedro Bedoya (June 2, 2006)
This was one of the first records in my personal collection. It was released in Lima when i was 15. I still have the LP. The cover is not so fine, but the inside is really spectacular. There is a track per film. In each track, the music is listened as a continuum, playing different themes of the films. Some pieces are really powerful. Patton is spectacular. Ben Hur is also outstanding, but it lacks the march of the charioteers. The music for The Alamo, including the trumpet solo, is really moving. This record is a must. I wish to know is there is a CD version
