    Great example of action/horror scoring,
by Alex (October 10, 2006)
The main theme (first heard in the title track, "Dog Soldiers") is a great action cue that makes the disc worth the price alone. Mark Thomas' grand, fully-orchestrated score for the 2002 werewolf romp is a great one indeed. A strong celtic influence, blurred and interwinded with militaristic themes and pulse-pounding drums are a highlight. Some highlight tracks are the aformentioned "Dog Soldiers", "Sarge's Theme", "Comrades", and "Battle". At a little over an hour in length, this score makes for a very solid, enjoyable listen. The inclusion of Claude DeBussy's "Clair De Lune" is a nice touch.
This unfortunately rare score (for us Americans anyways) is a must have for any collector. Nice work Mark Thomas!
