Imagine the pressure that had to be on Joel Mcneely's shoulders. He had to compose a Star Wars score for 'The movie with out a movie' project Shadows of the empire. John Williams set an impossibly high standard with his scores for the movies. However Joel Mcneely pulls it of nicely. Making new themes for characters and events that occur in the book makes this score ver fresh. It does incorporate familiar themes like Darth Vaders theme and The force theme but with a nice twist to it. A must have for every Star Wars fan and soundtrack collecter. Pick this rare score up if possible It's great.
