To everyone who loves and always loved BILLION DOLLAR BRAIN and shared my disappointment about how this glorious score sounded on all releases in the past:

Please listen to the samples at http://www.filmscoremonthly.com/notes/billion_dollar_brain.html. The improvement in sound quality is EARTH SHATTERING. I lack the words to express how happy I am that this work finally comes to shine and sound as if Sir Richard was performing it right next to you and live. It's a whole new world...err, album.

Answers

On the FSM board Lukas Kendall explains one reason for the bad sound. According to him, the channels were out phase.

And the Movietrack release was a boot.
