Some important corrections and additions!
- This was originally a Japanese series that got redubbed - incl. a new soundtrack - when it was broadcasted (only once) in the UK in 1982. It was also broadcasted several times on SUPER CHANNEL (ca. 1985-1990). (This is where I saw it, btw.)
- This series is called X-Bomber (Japan) or Starfleet (UK) - Bomber X in France. (Source: http://www.sfxb.co.uk/)
- The composer of the soundtrack is Paul Bliss, not Haim Saban!
- Brian May (of QUEEN) covered the title song (named Starfleet) with some friends. For this they called themselves "The Starfleet Project". There was also a release of on vinyl record which does not contain any original music from the series:

(Yes, I own this record.)
- The O.S.T. by Paul Bliss was only released in France (check the entry).
- A brandnew interview with Paul Bliss about the series, the new release on DVD and its music can be found on DVDTimes:

Hope this helps,
ZAR.

Sometimes films and shows are rescored when going to different countries; I wouldn't remove Saban until we know for sure. He has a website now, as I recall.
