Curious

This is probably a long shot, but I really wanted a soundtrack of the music in the Transformers movie, not just the headlining crap by Lion and whatnot. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I'm currently in Germany and wanted to know if I could find this anywhere/have it shipped here. I'd appreciate anyone's knowledge on the subject.

All of the CDs produced by 3H Enterprises were originally available for sale through the BotCon web store and at Transformers conventions. I was able to buy a copy of "Lighting Their Darkest Hour" (complete music score from the Transformers movie) directly through the BotCon website a few years ago, but they would only accept payment by money order and it took two months (and some e-mail prodding) for the CD to arrive (but by jove, I got it!). They've long since stopped selling through the original web store, and as you can see at the link below, they suggest trying eBay for any merchandise from past conventions. I totally agree with them. You won't find any of the 3H Enterprises CDs in any stores, online or otherwise, except for perhaps if Intrada or Footlight Records or another soundtrack specialty retailer happens across a copy and lists it on their "rarities" page. Other than in forums like this one, where you might happen upon someone selling a copy, eBay is definitely your best bet.

P.S. Here's a site that contains more info on these and other Transformers-related soundtrack releases:
