The Sicilian Clan?
There is a particular Morricone track I’m looking for, which I remember from the vinyl version of Virgin's Morricone compilation, "Film Music volume 1." It had a (slightly) John Barry-esque electric guitar arpeggio running throughout. It also reminded me, at least in mood, of Mancini's "Experiment in Terror." If I recall correctly, it’s the theme to “The Sicilian Clan,” and was positioned as the first track on side 2. However, the track list from the CD version of this compilation doesn't correspond with my memory. Can anyone help identify the track on the basis of this description, and name any more recent release that includes this theme? -- Michael Draine
