Can’t find the pop-rock song played several times, but not on the soundtrack

Hi,
There is a song, played many times, that I can’t find:
- when the postman comes ;
- when the son turns on the radio at the party, in the beginning ;
- when the son and the stranger are getting ready to sleep ;
It’s a pop song with a melody on the electric guitar, similar to other songs, that’s why I first thought it was from Ennio Morricone, but as it’s not on the soundtrack, it is probably not from him. Still, I miss the title of this song, and the artist who made it.

Thank you people, in advance.
Niavlys

(sorry for the bad english)

I cannot identify it, but maybe others can: I guess you mean the instrumental that plays on the record player at 5:09 in this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsX95SWDvhE

Are you sure it is not this track (included in the CD)?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ypiiieayaw

@handstand
Yes it is the song played at 5:09 in this clip. But I’m pretty sure it’s not the same as "Beat No. 3", though it is very similar. I’ll try to listen more carefully.

Thanks for you help.

Well, it might be original score not included in the soundtrack releases so far. I agree that the music is similar, but perhaps not identical to "Beat No. 3". The specification "No. 3" could suggest that Morricone composed several beat tracks for the movie, but only included version no. 3 in the album.

You never know, perhaps one of the Italian labels will release an expanded edition of TEOREMA in a few years. :-)
