I guess a complete 2 disc set from Goldsmith's ALIEN. This is a masterpiece after all. Varese has the rights since they did the Goldsmith Box. However, Gremlins 1+2 complete would also be a nice idea.

Hello,

Can someone tell me what "from Masters Film Music" is or means? Other than that question, I hope some of you get your wishes for what the new club releases might be. I would love to see some releases from the 60's and 70's myself, But thats just me.

To: joelfan71 - I really hope you get your Grusin score someday. I just hope if it ever happened, Your heart can take the news. It's great to see collectors like you with such passion and determination about film music. Take care.

Best Regards,
David Phoenix, AZ.

Hey there. When Varese says midnight madness, when do they typically post the new titles. Would that be midnight from the 1st going to the 2nd, or the 2nd going to the 3rd? Just curious. I've learned that some of these titles sell out pretty quickly. Also is that typically midnight (if that is when they typically post) on the west coast or the east?

BTW, deg63iami, Masters Film Music is a sub-label that Varese released a few limited edition titles on similarly to the ones on the regular CD Club. Titles included Herrmann's Obsession, Goldsmith's Boys From Brazil and Budd's The Wild Geese. Hope that helps.

Thanks.

A.

It's a shame it wasn't The Reincarnation Of Peter Proud. I would kill for an updated a remasted recording of that masterpeace.
