Hello Tanemahuta,
I've recently received card number 11, which is Lalo Schifrin.
Does anyone know the complete list of cards to date? Thanks.
Greetings,
Angel

The cards are really from Film Score Monthly and distributed by SAE one at a time with every order. It seems that once a composer has had a minimum of four scores released on the FSM label, they get a card issued with their likeness on the front and interesting stats on the back, i.e. Oscar nominations or wins, birthplace, director collaborations, etc. So far there have been two sets of six cards each, a total of twelve:
1. Bernard Herrmann
2. John Williams
3. Jerry Goldsmith
4. Miklos Rozsa
5. Alfred Newman
6. Elmer Bernstein
--------------------------
7. Franz Waxman
8. Leonard Rosenman
9. Alex North
10. Bronislau Kaper
11. Lalo Schifrin
12. George Duning

I'd be curious what anyone with an IQ (presumed to be) beyond that of a pretzel is doing with
such crap? Try to trade them in the kindergarten?
No hard feelings, kiddies!

'Harsh words...Harsh words indeed.' To quote Kent Brockman from The Simpsons.

Scandalous!
I wonder if he collects them...

Thought I'd chime in on this composer card deal.
Years ago we would go to the state fair during the summer. The highpoint of such an outing was a visit to see Pete Moore, who stood 38 inches tall. For ten cents he sold 5 by 7 black and white cards of himself as a souvenir to take home.
I had one for many years and loved propping it up somewhere as a reminder of old Pete who loved standing up on that small stage and talking to the kids.
All of this proves that the world is basicly a freakshow.
How say those aboard ship?
