Something very strange on ebay
Hi, does anyone here own the Burbs (Varese Sarabande) limited edition of 2,500? The reason I ask is that theer is a new seller on ebay who sold a copy today for £25 which I thought was strange as it normally sells for aropund £100! No one else bid. But also if you look closely on the scan you can see the words (c) 1979 MCA records - what the hell? Is this a clever scammer?

Looks like a boot to me. I don't own the CD, but from what I can tell it looks like he took another Varese disc and blacked out all the information and photoshoped the Burbs info right on the CD. No way I trust this guy.

This cd is a fake edition. The original cd has not these graphics.
When eBay will eradicate this kind of sellers ?

Sometimes I have reported these sellers to Ebay but no effects.
I am tired to see that kind of sellers.
Perhaps if several of us will report to eBay...

I can also vouch for the fact that this CD is different than the copy I own!!! The official version has purple writing on the body of the disc. Plus of course all of these limited CDs were hand numbered. You might want to e-mail him and ask what the number is on the back insert, better still ask for a scan, lol. As for ebay getting rid of bootleggers, they don't give a s**t I have tried many times myself but to no avail. I would be happy to do it again if a bunch of us got together to complain though.

it's not a boot it's Fake 100% look @ the Disc itself...he copied and pssted the info on the disc pic..come on man! a blind man can see that!
