Lord of the Rings: Two Towers Complete Recordings DVD-Audio disc. The 5.1 Dolby Digital is awesome!

Last night I listened to the Derek Bailey recording Ballads (not a film score) and followed it up with Cannibal Holocaust (Riz Ortolani).

I would have to say both recordings do not fit within the mainstream definition of "normal".

AND THAT'S A GOOD THING!!!!

Contact - Alan Silvestri ... it's taking time but it is growing on me

& earlier, since lunch (no auto-changer which means I have to get up from the computer from time to time - oh well!)

Where Eagles Dare - Ron Goodwin (FSM) a treat for such a miserable (weather-wise) day
Companeros - Ennio Morricone - haven't played this one in ages - good fun (I'd forgotten just how much use of animal sounds there is)
Point Of Origin - John Ottman - not very good but I do give it a play in the hope that it will click with me.

Scaramouche by Victor Young is in my car cd player at the moment when that finishes, it will be The Last Valley by John Barry or Amazing Stories Volume 3. Right before Scaramouche I listened to The Devil's Brigade by Alex North. (Love the use of percussion and Scotland The Brave in the latter)
At home.....well I have been working too many hours and not had the Sony 200 cd changer on the Bose GSX (with its almost full 200 hours of music) system on for very long this week.
