2002 Release of Lethal Weapon.........
Hello Soundtrack Collectors,
Was this CD an official CD release?
Does anyone have any idea if they would ever release it again, in a similar way to the Karate Kid Box Set, with Lethal Weapon 2, 3 & 4?
Do the rights interfere with this, as it has been released?
Has there ever been a time where a limited edition complete score that has or hasn't sold out been released for a second time in either limited or unlimited quantities???
Does anyone have a spare copy of this score and are willing to sell, email paulbologiannis@yahoo.com.au
Thanks!!
THANKS!!
THANKS AGAIN!!!
THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, the Bacchus Media Group CD was an official release, manufactured by Rhino Entertainment Company and produced under license from Warner Bros. Records, Inc. (according to the information on the back insert). The CD was produced by Michael Kamen himself, and I just noticed that the 'CD Art Direction' is credited to none other than Mark Banning (of Buysoundtrax).
Furthermore, for the record (no pun intended), it's a factory-pressed CD, not a CD-R, and was limited to 3000 hand-numbered copies.

I have a copy of this CD but, sorry Paul, it's one of the few soundtracks that I won't sell in my current bid to sort out my finances. ;o)
It's one of those soundtracks that deserves a wider sale, not restricted to "3000 units".
I'd like to see an expanded Lethal Weapon 2 and 3. (not bothered about 4 as it appears to be a recycle effort from 1, 2, and 3)
BTW anyone interested in the Varese Commando OST? I'm putting that on ebay soon.

"...and I just noticed that the 'CD Art Direction' is credited to none other than Mark Banning (of Buysoundtrax)..."
Yep! Like 95% of the CDs outthere :-)

Richard, please pop me an e-mail about the Commando you have. I'd like to try to work out a trade before you put it on eBay if you're interested. Thanks.
A.
