How many more versions of the Blade Runner soundtrack are really NEEDED? It's not THAT great of a score.....very overrated, IMHO.

"Blade Runner" wouldn't be the movie it is without that score. It it damn well time for a definitive release.

Blade Runner is an outstanding soundtrack and one of Vangelis' best scores if not his best.

I would say "Pirates Of The Caribbean" is overrated or another crappy movie score!

Of course there are lot of bootlegs and various versions of Blade Runner. Almost all of them are crap!
Many people would welcome a proper release.

It's just a shame that some stupid titles get a complete (2-disc) release but BR does not. A good example is "300"... I really like the movie AND the score but WTF.. some weeks after the single CD they announced the "complete score"??? ;O
How blind can a company be? I never understood this. Do they wait till composer's death?

well.. I continue my praying for a proper BR release.

I like Pirates' score!
My favourite soundtrack by Vangelis is LEGEND

Blade Runner is a great soundtrack, but not a masterpiece in my opinion....

Do you mean the movie Legend by Ridley Scott?
That score was composed by Tangerine Dream,
after the producers or studio suits (?) threw out
Jerry Goldsmiths score...

masterpiece or not - the fact is BR is the most owned and most wanted score. Just take a look at the wanted-number.
you could also say BR score just has more fans than other Vangelis score.

you can also start a world wide rating of all Vangelis scores... I bet you'll get the same effect. :)

IMHO it is a masterpiece, cult, classic or whatever you may call it!
