TWO GREAT LOSSES
I've just learned from the news, that two great movie personalities deceased today - Ingmar
Bergman and Michel Serrault, one of my favourite actors, passed away, at the age of 89 and 79
years respectively.
Very sad news indeed. May they rest in peace.

Nelly et Monsieur Arnaud, great acting by Serrault. And Fanny Och Alexander, great TV-series
by Bergman. They will be missed...

And Garde à Vue, Mortelle Randonnée, On Ne Meurt Que Deux Fois, Buffet Froid, Les
Diaboliques... There was hardly an actor as outstanding as Michel Serrault.
Not to forget La Notte, Deserto Rosso, The Seventh Seal...

BBC news spent 10 mins on Monday morning over ex-crook Mike Reid who died on Sunday. Somehow I dont think they will give the same airtime to Bergman or Antoniini, because, of course, neither directed any episodes of 'Eastender's '
