Can anyone tell me if the new release of Bullitt soundtrack due for release on the 20/8/07 which contains 18 tracks is the original film score or a re-recording by Lalo Schifrinn.I have heard that it is re-recorded.

In case you didn't check the labels here, there's the 18 track WDR* Big Band rerecording conducted by Lalo Schifrin himself from 2001, on his own Aleph label.
