Jacques Loussier... "You Only Love Once" aka "Tu Seras Terriblement..."
The cd soundtrack for ''You Only Love Once'' aka ''Tu Seras Terriblement Gentille" by Jacques Loussier as far as I know has been released by Harkit Records back in 2002.
I noticed this in Dusty Groove's website...

Is this a new release that was about to be released a few months ago and has been delayed... perhaps remastered with more tracks... or is it a mistake?
Anyone knows?
Thanks!

As the title is out of print at Harkit records for a while, it will be a re-release. I doubt that this
will be remastered. And as far as I know, the CD contained all the available material.
Quack ;-)

Thanks David...
The reason I asked is because I'm contemplating in getting the 2002 Harkit one I spotted so I'm wondering if I should wait for the mysterious release from Grooves' website or just buy this Harkit release and get it over with.
Crombie's "Man From Interpol" was actually remastered and rereleased again by Harkit with an additional 5 tracks so perhaps Harkit will do something similar with Loussier's score.
I emailed Grooves. I am curious of their response, if they do respond.
Hmmm... perhaps I should email Harkit and ask as well.
Anyway... thanks again.
Quack!... Quack!...

Good luck, seri! I've mailed them twice, regarding "Les Gants Blanc Du Diable" and never got an
answer. I sometimes wonder how people can manage to stay in business, when they're offering
such an awful customer service.
PS: Crombie's score was for a TV series and there's usually lots of stuff to unearth. Loussier's
scores have always been rather short.

Yeah... I know.
Their prices?!
I'll email Grooves again and inquire this time about Schafer's score as well.
Where the heck do they get such info?
Don't they know that anticipation can cause quite a stir and nervous breakdowns from sleepless nights among film music devotees?
Despicable I telll ya!
PS
Okay... I see. Short and sweet.
I placed my order! Harkit(?) can now rerelease it whenever.
Very good music.

Hi,
It might be a Japanese title. Release date was April 18th. But it was suddenly canceled with 'Love is a ball' by Michael Legrand.

This might be dusty old news (apologies in advance) but I noticed fellow Loussier fans sharing (Hello brothers!) and I thought I'd interject a "JL" tid-bit: The old 1994 Play Time CD release LES PLUS BELLES MUSIQUES DE JACQUES LOUSSIER features two or three inedits from DARK OF THE SUN. I've been revisiting this marvelous score lately and it is such a delight, and it seems to be getting even better with age (usually symptomatic of a timeless masterwork). - John Bender
