Karate Kid Limited Edition
I am a little surprised that the Karate Kid 4-cd set has not sold out yet. Is this soundtrack not as popular as it once was?

Yeah i got to admit i thought it would have gone faster, i guess the 3000 press and $60 price tag caused some people to be more complacent. Chances are it would have sold out faster as individual releases, as part three and four didn't appeal to certain people...
Played each one at least 7 times so far!!!!!

The price of the box set is only $45.00. That is not too much in my opinion. But I understand everyone's point. Thanks for the replies.

I, too, expected it to sell out faster than it has (or will). I also agree with Neil that if discs one and two were released separately or perhaps as a pair, the set would have sold out much sooner. I, for one, am more than happy to have all four discs! ...and I think that $45 is not too expensive for this set. Think of the people who will have to pay two or three times as much in a year or two, after it has become unavailble through soundtrack e-tailers.

Oooppps...sorry $45, slept since I bought it!!! Even though parts 3 and 4 were'nt that popular I'm glad it was a box set release, too many soundtracks and their sequels are released in too few numbers, too far apart in time and indivdually even though they are part of the same franchise, nice to have all under one release!!
