Mad, Mod, and Macabre DISAPPEARANCE!
Does anyone have a clue as to why the Ronald Stein box has suddenly and mysteriously disappeared from Percepto's site, as well as from most (if not all) other online soundtrack shops? I asked Screen Archives (where until recently it was still available for purchase) if they had any news regarding this phenomena, but they claim that they know nothing. If it had simply sold out, I would assume that it'd still be pictured on Percepto's site, like all of their other sold out releases are, but it's not. It's vanished, like it never even existed. Mysterious, indeed...

A lot of strange things have been happening on the internet lately. This may be just one of many peculiar happenings.
Couple of weeks ago I tried submitting a track listing on this site for a recording. When I submitted it then glanced over it to see if all was well I noticed a double slash (//) after one track. After correcting it I noticed the number three after another track. When I corrected that the double slash was on the previous track title again.
This went back and forth several times until I said hell with it... I'll submit the listing later.
Probably just another computer glitch.

If it has been deleted everywhere around, than this could be a hint, that there are licensing
issues with this release.
Some months ago, there was a similar problem with a Delerue compilation which had to be
withdrawn from the market and destroyed.
A quick check showed, that the box is still available at www.soundtrak.com (49.95$).

Actually, the incident with slashes that killer knives mentioned has happened to me as well... I don't know why.
As far as # 3's appearing...
Do you think it's sun spots?
Quack!...

No, I'm not joking. People at Ebay claim there's a problem with internet explorer.
Twilight Zone predictions of computer technology overwhelming then destroying all sanity may eventually prove true.
