There's a few different pressings. The original on Decca, a Japanese pressing coupled with Song Of Bernadette and a Varese Sarabande pressing.
John Wayne narrates the story of Island In The Sky on all. The Varese Sarabande pressing features the narration as well as the score with the narration removed.
Earle Hagen worked on the score as well.
I have a copy of the Japanese pressing. Used to have an original 16mm print of the film.
Have long thought a re-recording would be a good project for John Morgan.
