Cut in Sleepy Hollow score

Anyone notice the cut in the Sleepy Hollow score? It's like that the first 44 seconds of track 14, Love Lost, were part of track 13, The Church Battle. (Yes, I know, in the movie they were together.) But it seems like they purposely cut it roughly so that it could be part of Track 14. Listen to the end of track 13 and 14 in WMP (because it automaticlyleads into the next track) and see if you find what I mean.

hi,

yes, you are right. but the reason is very simple. the two tracks 13 and 14 do not have a standard pause of 2 seconds between them. so track 13 leads directly into track 14. this is done deliberately. there is a slight pause/break when you play the cd in a computer. but when you play it in a regular cd player you do not hear any pause. cd/dvd-rom drives as far as I have experienced are not able to perform such a zero pause. or maybe the software is not able to do it.

this zero pause can be heard e.g. in the time machine score by badelt, or an even better example is the score to x-men III, where most of the tracks are mixed with a zero pause - in my opinion one of the worst track mixing ever!

take care!

It doesn't pause for me when I play it in a computer drive, it simply segues into the next track. Try playing with WinAmp or Foobar and see if it does the same. If so, try a new drive.
